Pub policies

A Comfortable, Safe, and Welcoming Place

These policies help protect our guests, staff, and neighborhood-pub atmosphere.

Minors

Based on our license and Indiana law, minors are not permitted to sit at the bar at any time. Minors are allowed inside the building and in designated outdoor spaces only when accompanied by an adult over the age of 21 and present for the purpose of dining.

Service Animals

Service animals are permitted in accordance with Indiana law and are subject to all applicable rules and regulations.

Pets

Pets are not permitted inside the building. They are welcome in designated outdoor areas and must remain on a leash. Owners are responsible for cleanup, and disruptive animals may need to be removed.

Do you serve food?

The Sip generally has food available from its on-site food truck.

Can I bring food or have it delivered?

Yes. You are welcome to carry in food or have it delivered to The Sip.

Do you have non-alcoholic or gluten-free options?

Yes. The Sip offers select non-alcoholic and gluten-free options in cans.

Do you serve wine?

Yes. A variety of wines is available in addition to craft and domestic beer selections.

How often does the beer list change?

The tap list rotates regularly. Check the Beer List page for the most current available pours.

Families, Pets & Service Animals

Can minors visit The Sip?

Can I bring my dog?

Patio & Outdoor Space

Do you have outdoor seating?

Yes. The Sip has a large outdoor gathering area with tables, shade, fire pits, outdoor games, and occasional entertainment.

Are the patio fire pits always available?

They're currently being installed, but will be used when weather and operating conditions allow. Come back for updates on when they will be available.

Events & Gatherings

What kinds of events do you host?

The Sip hosts a changing schedule that may include live music, trivia, karaoke, euchre, cornhole, and other special events. Check the Events page for current details.

Can I reserve a table or host a private gathering?

Availability and arrangements may vary by date and event schedule. Contact The Sip directly so the staff can discuss your plans.

Do you offer a military or first responder discount?

Yes. The Sip offers 10% off for active-duty military personnel, veterans, police officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, and other first responders with valid identification.

The Sip is located at 5920 W State Rd 46, Bloomington, Indiana 47404, near Ellettsville.

What are your hours?

Monday through Thursday: 3:00 PM–10:00 PM. Friday: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. Saturday: 12:00 PM–11:00 PM. Sunday: 12:00 PM–8:00 PM.
